After returning Cris to her father’s side, Hermos felt that his final task had been completed and he would finally find rest. However, a mysterious voice proclaimed that he (and his fellow knights) were "ever required," and he found himself on a strange path that led to Dartz and Cris as well as his "brother" Timaeus. He is uncertain of what his new task might be, but he has no intention of abandoning his duties. Recently, and through circumstances he does not quite understand, his beloved Alekto (to whom he was betrothed in Atlantis and who perished long ago) was returned to life and took her place once more at his side.
